                     Welcome, Betsy(Samantha's aunt) & Cathy, & norma, last Sunday! ​


Hi, all! Today is the 25th anniversary of 9/11. 

We mourn with those who still grieve the loss of their loved ones, and we honor and appreciate those who sacrificed their lives for others.

 We continue to live by their good example, just as Jesus Christ died for us and rose again for us. May we never forget the love, courage, and sacrifice we witnessed that day.

I hope we can be connected through prayer and online!

Here is the update for Samantha. We will listen to her testimony this Sunday! 

Thank you for your prayer for David Wright. His surgery went well, and he is supposed to come home today! 

Also, we opened Wellfleet UMC facebook. If you have a facebook, please follow our homepage!! 

This Sunday, we will have our Administrative Council meeting. 

All committee chairs and everyone who helps build and serve our church together are invited! We will review our committees, discuss how to prepare for Church Conference, and talk about livestreaming.

Unbroken Faith by Samantha Hayman

                                          My name is Samantha, and this is a hard story to tell because I am still living it. On August 20, 2026, I was riding my motorcycle when a car pulled out and hit me. In one instant, my whole life changed. I was badly hurt—my pelvis, ribs, lung, and both wrists were injured—and I was rushed to the hospital. I went from being very active and independent to needing help with almost everything. But there is something from that day I will never forget. My first words to the woman who hit me were, “I forgive you.” Later, I kept thinking, How did those words even come out of my mouth? I truly believe they came from God, not from me. I am not angry with her. I do not understand why this happened, and I do not have every answer.   🕊️ Pastor’s Corner: Extraordinary Love Dear Church Family, Last weekend, our home was filled with so many dear friends from Houlton, Maine, who drove all the way down to deliver a very special farewell gift from Houlton UMC: our beloved piano! We felt so deeply blessed and honored to receive this gift. This piano holds countless memories of worship, praise, and shared love through the years. The reason they donated this beautiful gift to us was to help us continue praising God with the same love we shared with all in Houlton, now here in Wellfleet! ❤️🎹  It was such a gift to share sweet fellowship with our former lay members, though our hearts were also heavy with sad news from Maine: Our dear friends, the Henderson family (who have four children close in age to ours), tragically lost their home in a house fire last Monday.
