π Update and Prayer for Samantha π
We have some encouraging news about Samantha! She is out of her hard casts and now wearing temporary wrist braces. Her pelvic stitches have been removed, her ribs are healing, and the incision from her lung tube is almost closed.
She is still completely non-weight-bearing and expects to remain at Spaulding for at least four more weeks. Her surgeon is hopeful that she may be able to walk again in 8–10 weeks. ππ½
Samantha is in good spirits and says she feels God’s presence and strength each day. She is so thankful for everyone’s prayers and believes they are making a difference.
And there is even more to praise God for! You can hear Samantha share her wonderful testimony this Sunday. Her first words to the woman who hit her were, “I forgive you.” And now, in the hospital, Samantha is sharing the Gospel and encouraging others with her faith!
Praise the Lord! ππ½❤️
Please also pray for her third son, Graham, 16, as he begins his junior year of high school without his mom there beside him. We are so thankful that God has provided Grandma and Aunt to be there for him during this difficult time. ❤️ππ½
Please continue to pray for healing, strength, patience, and peace as Samantha continues this long journey toward walking again.
If you would like to send a card or note to Samantha, please send it to her mother, Barbara Golding, who will be visiting her once a week:
